For years I have been reading that Microsoft was ending support for WLM, then in 2016 it was declared unsupported with official notifications of changes that rendered it unworkable in many situations. Now, if you search this subject on the net you'll come up with massive numbers of complaints of unworkability. Indeed, my own experience has been that my email accounts, one by one, have failed to function, usually thru endless password log-in rejections.

Suddenly, I am now seeing reviews of WLM as if nothing had ever happened as if it is fully reconstituted in Windows 10.  Nowhere have I found any confirmation of this. If true, why isn't Microsoft trumpeting this to the high heavens instead of the usual silence surrounding WLM?

This deplorable situation suggests that Microsoft is badly in need of a public relations manager who knows how to do the job.  WLM had a large and loyal following but MS continues to harpoon them. It takes little effort to end the confusion with a simple press release of notice on any one of their numerous venues.

I therefore must continue to conclude that WLM is DEAD.
