I am running Windows 7 and Windows Essentials 2012 (Windows Live Mail Version 2012 (Build 16.4.3564.1216)).

Ever since the upgrade at the end of last year (2015) WLM has been very fragile.  I have followed your advice and run the Windows Essentials repair tool.  WLM then works for between a few minute or a few hours before crashing again. 

Also since the upgrade calendars do not [always] sync with mobile devices.

It would appear from your various fora that I am not the only one experiencing this problem.

Please advise if there is a fix likely to be available in the immediate future?
