I recently got a new computer with Windows 8.1 and upgraded my Windows Live Mail to 2012. Frequently when I delete a message, the program crashes and re-starts. Some messages already read and some deleted re-appear and I have two copies.

Also, sometimes when I am starting up the computer cold, messages I already read or deleted re-appear and again I have two copies.

How can this be fixed?
