I had run WLM probably for a couple of years - obviously I had signed into my mail servers initially and checked the 'Save passwords' boxes for both outgoing and incoming mail servers. I could open and close WLM with impunity and shut down my computer - probably hundreds of times during that period and wasn't ever asked via a Pop Up to log on to my servers again because this was done automatically via the saved password feature.

My computer was recently upgraded to W7 from Vista and WLM had to be reloaded. Ever since then every time use WLM I have to input my passwords to each server again DESPITE these having previously been saved. via the Save Password check box

Other threads on here suggest that this is how it is meant to be is simply not true - if this is the case how come I didn't have to sign in (to my servers) for the previous couple of years. Also what is the point of having a check box to 'save password' if it doesn't actually do what it says on the tin??

This is an issue NOT a feature - something is not right (and for further information I have  checked with my ISP there is nothing wrong with their servers and they confirm my passwords are working correctly).

**Unhelpful and incorrect stuff edited out here** I apologise for comments about MS being unhelpful - Noel (Firedog) has sorted my issues despite my negative comments - see below. Noel you are a star!

Can I please suggest that followers of this thread click the 'Me too' button on the top right of this post to gauge how many have this exact same issue.
