OK Community, I have been going round in circles it seems since attempting the upgrade to Windows 10 but have had problems so reverted back to Windows 7. I believe my problems started here.

When I launch WLM an information window now always appears on my screen that it is "recovering the WLM database" and then the WLM opens. All appears to be OK but I just wanted to check on of my listed email accounts however there are no "properties" shown when I go to the account/properties or right-click on the account title and go to "properties" from the sub menu.

I do a bit of reading up to try and see what the problem might be, I try uninstalling and re-installing the Windows Live Essentials package but every time I then go to open my WLM I see exactly the same details, nothing has changed??

I then try to tidy up my storage files and find that some of the folders I created cannot be deleted. I navigate to the Windows Live folder on my C drive and delete them manually from the "storage" folder. I then do a registry clean up a couple of times (using Registry recycler) then do a repair on the Windows Mail (via control panel/programs). I then go back to the WLM and hey presto, nothing has changed - It is still exactly the same with the "dead" account and stuck folders I cannot delete. I also still see the "recovering database" window. Also while in this folder I find the relevant folders associated with my email accounts and in the folder for my "dead" account I see that the "oeaccount file" is not there and deduce this is the cause of my problem but how do I fix it if this is a randomly generated series of data created when the account is set up?

How can I completely remove all data connected to this application and start again from scratch? I have managed to export the emails I wish to save so not really worried about anything else.
