I have a problem that relates to Windows Live Mail on a new Dell Latitude with W7 64 bit using eM Client as my email client.

In Internet Explorer 11 the "file/send/link to" was greyed out.  After some messing around I discovered that if I installed Windows Live Mail and set it as default, then reset eM Client as the default it was no longer greyed out.  So far so good.

Meanwhile I decided to use WLM for some old email addresses wherein I still get messages and I had a bit of a problem with some folders not showing due to my ignorance of this programme.  Through this forum I managed to sort the problem out but something odd now seems to have happened as a result of the actions taken:

1.  The link in IE11 (as above) is now once again greyed out

2.  If I go to "set my defaults" and look at Windows Live Mail the file associations show as eM C files (which doesn't seem right)

I uninstalled WLM thinking it would delete the whole of WLM including the accounts I had originally set up.  However, when I re-installed it the accounts were still there as were the strange file associations mentioned above.  This suggests to me that the uninstall doesn't really uninstall if you see what I mean.

I wonder whether any one can offer any thoughts.

Thank you.
