Windows Live Mail - ugh

Have two or three gmail accounts but one of them is also accessible on another computer.  Had to change the password on that computer (Apple not Microsoft) for the gmail and now on my Live Mail it keeps asking for the Password.  I put it in and it keeps rejecting it.  It is the correct password because I can access the account on Google Mail Web using that password.  Tried retyping everything in again but no.  Tried changing IMAP to POP but no.  Changed settings at Google to enable both IMAP and POP (the other two emails use IMAP and work well)   The error message is 0x800ccc0f

Has anyone any suggestions?
