I’ve been using Windows Live Mail to send and receive mail using my MSN, Hotmail and Google emails accounts.  Everything working great up until Thursday night!  The date and time of the last email received on my Hotmail account is 04/09/2015, 4:35PM.

Since then I gotten the following error message when Windows Live Mail attempts to download emails from Hotmail and MSN

"Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail (RussMcAvey) account.

 Server Error: 0x80072EFE

Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'

Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x80072EFE"

I get the same message for my MSN account.

Windows Live Mail has been able to downloaded my Gmail accounts with any problem.

When I tried to find out what was ahappenidng on the Web I found the following headline listed on InfoWorld: “Widespread outages hit Windows 8/8.1 Metro Mail, Windows Live Mail, Windows Phone 8.1”

Supposedly the problem has been fixed BUT I AM STILL RECEIVEING THE SAME MESSAGE.

How do I get Windows Live Mail back to working for my MSN and Hotmail accounts?
