Recently when trying to edit existing contact info in Windows Live Mail 2012, I get the error message  "the contact info can't be saved. Check contact's info and try again".

But when I edit the information and save it anyway, it seems to be retained in the record when I open it again.

So the message doesn't seem to have any effect, unless there is something I'm missing.  ??? 

Yes, I realize that Live Mail is unsupported and that Microsoft is trying to discourage use--is this error message telling me that the end is near?
