When backing up Windows Live Mail 2012, the main folder names under My Emails eg: Friends and Family are corrupted. This may be because of the length of the fokler names, as shorter names are not corrupted.

Without checking all the 100's of emails, I am unable to tell if any of these are corrupted as well.

Apart from shortening the folder names, does anyone have any other suggestion?

I also have relocated the Windows Live Mail 2012 Storage Folder to the User / Documents folder, so when I back up C Drive each night, I get the emails backed up that way.

In another post, it was suggested to drag the emails to a desktop folder, in order to copy them. However, as I have around 100 folders, this would take forever to do, and I would only consider if no other way.

Does Microsoft read these forums?
