I have a new problem with Windows Live Mail 2012

This was previously working fine on Windows 7

I updated to Windows 10 and it was still working fine but I had to return to windows 7 because PaperPort and FaxTalkPro were not working correctly and nobody could determine why.

After returning to Windows 7 Pro 64 bit, Windows Live mail has some sort of error in the database.

Whenever I open a folder which contains old emails all of the emails have been duplicated and when I select one of these duplicated files it reports “message cannot be found”.  This duplicate can be deleted one at a time and can be deleted in bulk if each is selected individually but they cannot be deleted by selecting a range of files.

After deleting these files and exiting Windows Live and then re-entering it I get “Recovering Windows Live database”

These duplicate E-mails appear when I first enter a folder to review it’s E-mails

There are thousands of these duplicate E-mails to be deleted which will take days to do one at a time since I cannot delete them in bulk.

And I cannot clear out the deleted files folder either due to an unexplained error.

I have already run “Repair all windows live programs” which does not make any

difference.

I have tried to export the E-mails but the export is clearly incomplete and does not list all of the E-mails

I removed Windows Live Mail and reinstalled it and imported these E-mails and the result was incomplete.

I cannot find any other database repair procedure in any of your forums.

Is there any other way to repair a Windows Live database.

(come on, Microsoft, you have been programming for decades and database repair is a basic  database maintenance procedure from the beginning of database design)
