I'm using Windows Live Mail  --- Version 2012 (Build 16.4.3528.0331)

It routes G-mail into my computer's Windows Live Mail.  

The problem is that my e-mail contacts are listed as OFFLINE and I can't edit or delete a contact.

How can I change the program to "Live ID (Online) mode" so that I can maintain the contact list and synch it with my G-mail account?
