Windows live mail 2012 v16.4.3328.0331  windows 7 pro 64.  I7 8gb memory

On occasion WLM crashes, starts in recover database mode.  Four times it was lost all email creating recovery folders  Inbox (1) etc.

Approximately 9gb of emails, except for the last three years are located in storage folders. 

Four accounts - pop3.  I do not use a windows live sign in with WLM. 

Upon last major crash of WLM I replaced the drive with a SSD since then I have had three major crashes in WLM.   ESET AV (business 5.x) no virus, malware bytes - no threats,  ADW - no threats

sfc /sannow complains on the windows 10 nag update which has been deinstalled, and telemetry.json.   chkdsk /f /r is clean.  No significant errors found in event viewer.  WLM -> Maintenance -> compact -> 1 run, fails with a "in use" message. 

When these crashes occur I restore the windows live mail folder from windows backup and import my missing messages.

I finally figured out how to compacted the Mail.MSMessageStore using ESENT reducing its size from 465,000kb to 335,000kb.   

Current crash: 

wlmail (4212) WindowsLiveMail0: The logfile sequence in "C:UserskenAppDataLocalMicrosoftWindows Live Mail" has been halted due to a fatal error. No further updates are possible for the databases that use this logfile sequence. Please correct the problem and restart or restore from backup.

WindowsLivemail.log shows multiple repeating errors, a sample follows:
