I'm running Windows 7 on an HP Pavilion purchased about 2009.

Unfortunately, I can't export my Windows Live Mail. I've been successful only once, yet the files appear to be corrupt.

Each time I attempt an export, the WLM program acts as though it has done an export, but no data makes its way into the folders. As for file corruption, I've noticed two things:

1).  When I attempt to move the file onto an external drive, I receive an error which asks, "Are you sure you want to copy this file without its properties?"

2).  Many folders within my Windows Live Mail (that I have been able to import onto a new HP Envy computer) do not contain any data. There appears to be e-mails there, but once I click onto them, I get an error message that says that nothing has been downloaded, or even worse, the e-mails are either blank or sometimes have text from older e-mails that have nothing to do with the e-mail message I've opened (it's text from a completely different e-mail).

Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue?

Thank you.
