When I opened windows Live Mail 2011 today, I began to receive old emails--I'm up to 2,500+--and I can't stop them.  The old emails keep downloading and filling up my inbox.

I've closed the program and turned the computer off two times.  But each time that I turned on the computer and re-opened Mail, the old emails began downloading again.

I have Windows 7.

Is there a way to stop this problem?  Thanks!
