I was having an issue with my Windows Live Mail and when I googled the problem it told me to uninstall the program and remove all of the remaining files.  I did this using IObit uninstaller which automatically finds any remaining files related to the program you are trying to uninstall.  When I tried to re-install Windows Live Essentials it downloaded fine and came up with the options for choosing which programs you wanted to install and everything but when it tried to actually install them it came up and said that it wan'ts installed correctly.  Now when I try to open any of the programs they don't work and when I try to re-download it, it says that Windows Live Essentials is already installed, but it is not showing up in the programs and features.
