My original question was how to open Windows live mail, you managed to solve that question. But after installing the fix you sent, I discovered I couldn't send or forward e mails.

I have tried unsuccessfully to uninstall widows live mail. All the other programs grouped in windows essentials uninstalled.

I am left with a e mail program that can accept mail but wont send or forward.

The error message I get when trying to uninstall is as follows.

COULDNT REMOVE MAIL WINDOWS LIVE  I/D  Sign in Assistant

An unknown error occurred

Error 08007064c
