Windows Essentials has stopped working

For the last few months, whenever I attempt to open ANY of the Windows Essential programs I get this message.

It gives me the information below. I have tried to repair Windows Essentials. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Nothing works.

Also, I do not know if it is related but Internet Explorer has also stopped working. I get nothing with that, it simply does not open.
