I changed my gmail password and suddenly cannot post from livewriter to Google.  

Blogger Log In box says that "Windows Live Writer is unable to log into the remote server using the user name and password.  Please check that the information is correct and try again."  

I found a previous thread and tried repairing Essentials.  I do not use, nor have I ever, activated two-step authentication.  I can use all Google accounts as normal.  I have changed passwords several times.  Fixed passwords in livewriter and still can't post or get drafts in Blogger to edit.  I'm using Windows 8.1.

Would it solve the problem if I uninstall and reinstall Windows Essentials?
