I just bought a new Gateway desktop with WIndows 8.  I downloaded Windows Essential with Movie Maker.  I have tried several times to edit my videos.  I can import them, but when I try to edit, trim or split the program shuts down.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled with not difference.  I need to edit a video for a school project due Friday, please help.
