I just installed the Windows 8.1 update on a formerly Windows 8.0 machine with SkyDrive Desktop Sync.  Unfortunately, despite setting all files to be available offline, I have found that files I save on my machine simply aren't being uploaded to the cloud.  Anyone have a fix for this issue?????

Also I can't over emphasis how dumb it is to not be able to see the status of individual files like in the previous Desktop client as it would make diagnosing an issue like this sooo much easier. 

Edit:  I have to take back part of the last sentence. It does appear to show the refresh icons.
