Hello,

in Windows 8 with SkyDrive installed I could click on the icon and exit the app to pause sync.
When I need my bandwidth for responsive apps like say games I need to temporarily pause the eternal sync of Skydrives (big files, low speed).

It there any way to do it WITHOUT: A. Going to Metro and tweaking settings; B. without messing with Right-Button clicks on skydrive Folders.

Preferably skydrive.exe api calls to make shortcuts from to pause/resume syncing.

Please don't ask witch version of OS I have (6.3.9600) and don't tell me that smart elaborated mechanisms should be doing good qos, because they are now, answer please on the GIST of the question: API calls (required) and/or OTHER ways to toggle the syncing (preferably with CONTINUING where it left off - so if a file is 1GB and we pause on 900 MB - we should not be reuploading 900 again (difference between shutdown and pause/resume).
