Hello, I just purchased a computer with Windows 8.1 and Movie Maker installed.  When I try to insert a transition (fade, dissolve, wipe, etc.) between two clips in my movie, the program crashes.  I have read several threads in this forum concerning the same problem but I think it's a bug in the program.  I found a method that works -- I simply apply the transition to every clip in the entire movie using the "apply to all" feature, and then I go back and remove the transitions from the places where I don't want them.  This method works and the program does not crash.  But if I try to apply a transition just between two adjacent clips within the movie, the program crashes.  Since the transitions work OK when applied to EVERY clip, but the program crashes when applying transitions to just two clips, doesn't this indicate a bug within Movie Maker?
