I upgraded to Windows 8.1 yesterday and these are the interesting things that happened. My (bad) User account *@cox.net disappeared from view on my PC tree (under Users). It remains under Manage Accounts. A new User Account named 'Abby' appeared in its place under Users. I deleted all files (not folders) under this account as they were in most cases duplicates of what is under the 'good' User Account: abbyl_000, which is associated with my 'good' sky account,   *@outlook.com .  *@cox.net remains as a Sky account. In my 'good' @outlook.com account, the 'other' email account of  *@cox.net has disappeared. I still seem to be getting all email and haven't lost anything and nothing else seems wrong except that: I have info regarding purchases I have made from Microsoft sitting in the old, 'bad, *@cox.net account in the sky. In one case, which my bank is exploring, I have been charged $239 twice for MS Office 2013.  And today I had to deal with $10 charged for my discontinued Office 365 which was in the 'bad' account in the sky. I can't wait to get rid of User 'Abby' (formerly *@cox.net and Microsoft sky account '*@cox.net. It may be that only Jack Cook can translate this post because he is the one who helped me out of the original 'bad' account creation.
