I have tried every solution I could find here on how to solve the problems with Movie Maker and so far, nothing has solved the issue. I am desperate enough to post a question in the hopes of finding someone who can tell me how to fix this once and for all. The Movie Maker program abruptly stops working, either at the beginning or middle of the presentation. It say Movie Maker has stopped working and asks if the program should look for solutions online and close or if it should just close. The option of Looking for a solution never receives a response. The compatibility assistance detected an issue. The Movie Maker was on the computer when purchased in 2012 and links to Windows XP Service Pack 2 for compatibility. None of the others listed work either. Opening the program as an Administrator didn't work and the program has been deleted and reinstalled, both Essentials 2011 and 2012. The Firewall was off when reinstalling but nothing changed, the programs still crashes or messes up the replay before crashing. I like this program but it doesn't like me. Can anyone find a solution so I can use this program?
