Hi
I'm running on windows 10 after a clean install and i have run into a few problems with re-adding my photos.

Windows 10 Photos doesn't seem to sort by dates, but instead by time periods (yesterday, earlier this year, etc) I've tried to work around it by re installing 'windows live photo gallery' but my external devices such as my ipod will only sync with the 'windows photos' assortment making so hard to find specific photos (considering nearly 70% of my photos are jumbled in "Earlier this year")

My questions are 
a) If i can get windows photos to sort by actual dates ( like "07/07/2014") how do i do that?

and if not

b) how can i get my devices such as my ipod to sync with the windows live gallery assortment ( which does it by dates "07/07/2014" )
and not with the Windows 10 Photos assortment

really hope this can be resolved, as i really want my photos how they were when i was using windows 7
