Since I upgraded from Windows 7 to 10 I am unable to send and receive messages from Windows Live Email. I get the following error. I use a secure PIN to access as well. I replaced the account with XXXXX.

Apparently its an issue with two factor verification.
Rather than using your standard password, create an App Password in Hotmail, and use that as your password.
