Started this on the wrong forum. Had few answers but none worked.

I'm running Windows 10pro and nothing was done prior to this issue starting, as far a s I know.

It started when I was asked to sign back into win live for security, then had an issue with POP3 server password, this has all now been resolved.

So we are now back to the original issue with a pop up saying "A problem occurred while trying to open this message, A problem occurred. Please try again" every time I open a new mail or try to reply/forward to an existing mail

Tried repairing Essentials 2012 and also uninstalling, then followed a couple threads and managed to end up not even being able to start live mail

Managed to get e-mail working again after uninstalling essentials, deleting reg keys and marking windows live, live files in user/app data/Local/Microsoft/ as old.

By doing that I also had to reenter all my mail settings, so I know they are correct

I ran a log for e-mail in maintenance and this is the result, when I try to open a new mail, hope it helps.

[10:24:55.75] 385c                 Mail:            Zone_MailChk ERROR: (composehost.cpp:446), failed with 0x80070057
[10:24:55.75] 385c                 Mail:            Zone_MailChk ERROR: (composehost.cpp:649), failed with 0x80070057

I've also just installed essentials 2012 and my email on a laptop running windows 10 home, using the same settings, and all is ok
