I am currently running Windows Movie Maker 2011. I'm having problems opening a saved project.
For example: I load in 8 video clips file type AVCHD (.m2ts) at a about 4 minutes long for all the clips added together. I do not have a problem loading the clips into Movie Maker the problem is when I save the project and reopen the project one clip will have the dreaded exclamation mark "!" on one of the files.
Now get this, if I than close the project and reopen the same project that exclamation mark "!" is now on a different clip and the clip that had the exclamation mark "!" is now working fine. I could do this all day and that exclamation mark "!" will move from clip to clip.
After the problem started I did load and use Windows Movie Maker 2012 and that was worse so I'm back to Windows Movie Maker 2011.
As for Windows Movie Maker 2011 I have had it on this computer for approximately 2 years and I have not had a problem until recent. Just a year ago I loaded 30 minutes of AVCHD (.m2ts) video and saved the project numerous times editing over a few weeks time and made a 10 minute long HD video without any problems.
I have researched this on Google, and various forums and I can't find a fix,
PLEASE HELP.
