I am getting an error message when trying to send or receive messages (not all the time)  ... I use Windows Live Mail.. last year downloaded Microsoft 10 and upgraded with your help Windows Live Mail.

However, recently getting error message 'unable to send or receive message.... etc. etc. .imap command could not be sent to service to due network, etc. etc. and other error messages..

I'm an untechy and need step by step directions to correct this problem. 

I also have various 'files, folders' that I've tried to delete thinking I may not have enough room, and then get the same error message for that and suggesting that I update IMAP.. which I have no idea now to do that..
