I downloaded a movie (.m4v file) (size 4.8 GB) from iTunes and wish to clip out a couple of scenes, but the file does not import or open. When opening, only shows a photo of the first frame and nothing else. When importing from device, the photo gallery program opens showing a picture of the first frame. Is this because the file has Digital Rights Management (DRM) ? and how do I find if so? I looked at file properties but no information about DRM there.

Also, is the file size (4.8 GB) too big for Movie Maker?
