I had to choose product category so Office on Insider Preview seemed best  even though I have not accessed Insider Previews at all so hope I get some help.  I am a novice. I am in charge of teaching my Tenant Association (mostly seniors) how to use Windows and other MS programs. I am having problem learning WIN 10 so I have kept my defaults that I used in WIN 7 - IE 11  and Windows Live Mail   The urgent problem I am having now is that I must report for testing in MS Word and Excel and Outlook for new employment.  MY computer came installed with MS WORKS so I need WORD and preferably OFFICE immediately.  Thought there would be no problem as there is a free 1 month trial for Office 365. Did chat with 2 separate agents if this would be best choice and then decide which version of Office I want - have a choice of using 365 with Office 2016 or 2013.  I was told by job recruiter that almost no companies they deal with in NYC use 2016 yet- most are still using 2013 or 2010.  First MS chat agent did not mention possible consequences, but when I did not get email of chat I called back and was told by second agent that ALL SAVED  EMAILS (THERE ARE AT LEAST 2000 organized in folders) WOULD MOST LIKELY BE DELETED when I  download 365 as LiveMail no longer supported by Microsoft.  I do not care about support, I just want to keep my emails for now in present format, I will need help learning how to export; even if they all would do so it seems it would take a long time because so many. I do not understand some instructions on how to export then import to see if it works.  I need suggestions as to what to do ASAP  Please! If I do not get employment soon I will not have a tenant association to report to.

I have Outlook which was installed with Windows 10.  Now every time I open my email in Live Mail I get error message that cannot connect with Windows Live Calendar which goes away within few minutes.  In checking Outlook there is no tutorial but when click help it starts out with "see Outlook Mail it has been upgraded."  My email address reflects one created by my service provider Spectrum(formerly TWC and ends with rr.com  I get email there but also in Windows Live.  There is no customer support from them. Last time I was not getting emails in LiveMail they said it was in MS problem (it was not)

Cut to the chase. I want to know if it is true that the emails will be deleted. My external HD not enough room to save there either) If so, do I need to buy from third party WORD 2013/Excel 2013 - I do not wish to do this as financially strapped,  but if have to will.  I do not know how I will teach myself Excel without program installed but WORD is more critical.  Is there a way I can export just one folder from Windows Live into Outlook to test without exporting all emails to test it? .

P.S Other problems not to be addressed here now is 1. that every time I get upgrade with WIN 10 many documents and pictures are deleted and sent to the recycle folder. why?   2. Fonts not consistent in size when I must copy from a website and paste in my email or other document. If I highlight the pasted entry and try to change it to match rest of document sometimes they will get even smaller instead of larger.  I need a link to how to resolve this if  you know of this problem.
