Rather than finding a fix for this issue, Microsoft seems more intent on stifling complaints about it.
Thread 1
- I began following this thread: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windowslive/forum/skydrive-sync/file-upload-to-skydrive-is-too-slow/b6f89ae6-292e-438c-8fc9-9aef79af6d47?page=5&tm=1374429191370
- I was started in May 2012. Logs were collected and the thread was closed in June 2012.
Thread 2
- Thread 1 was closed and moved over to this thread: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windowslive/forum/skydrive-sync/why-am-i-experiencing-slow-uploaddownload-speeds/6e818b05-769c-43f3-a17a-cdac6da62a68?page=3
- This thread began in June 2012, logs were collected and the thread was closed again later the same month.
- The final post, by Caroline A (Microsoft) reads:
- "Hello, thanks for offering your logs. At this time we have all the logs needed for the investigation."
This was THIRTEEN MONTHS AGO!
Has there been any progress in sorting this out or are we just intent on ignoring it and hoping that people will stop complaining after their initial upload finishes? I am currently estimating that at the current rate it will take more than a month, if
I leave my computer running 24 hours a day. I assume that Microsoft is not planning to reimburse my electricity bills over this period. I would prefer to hear that something is actually being done about it, or, even better, that anything has been discovered
about the problem in the last thirteen months.
Any help very much appreciated.
