I have a Surface tablet, a Windows 8.1 phone and a Windows 8.1 Desktop. Can you explain why Windows Live does not synchronize the contacts correctly to the calendar?

I think you'd better re-phrase that - it's not making sense at the moment.

It should be possible for your devices to synchronize with contacts at contacts.live.com and the calendar at calendar.live.com. In which respect is this not happening?
