Why do I keep getting an error message saying I’m signed into an Outlook 365 account and it cant be used on outlook.com. I dont even know what an outlook 365 account is!?

I'm trying to sign into my account and it wont let me. I keep getting this message and I dont even know what it means!

You're currently signed in with an Office 365 email account, which can't be used with Outlook.com. Please click here to sign out of your Office 365 account, then use another Microsoft account to sign in to Outlook.com (for example, your hotmail.com, live.com, or msn.com account).
