Hello community,

I have been using windows movie maker for quite some time now, an suddenly I've ran into an issue.

When I screen record a video and encode it (which works fine using Microsoft encoder 4) I check the file before I import the WMV.file into movie maker and when I view it its perfect but when its played in windows movie maker its very pixelated.. I have the newest version of windows movie maker, I've also checked the drivers, their up to date and signed.. also I've tried uninstalling windows live essentials and re-installing, still not fixed.. I've chose to "repair" the program through the control panel and it still isn't fixed..ive also ran a dxdiag to check the directX and its fine..The video file isn't pixelated and works just fine in other video editors but Is there a reason this had abruptly occurred? and what can I do to fix this solution?

I'm using a windows 10 pro OS
