Original title: Does Microsoft care about Windows Live Mail and whether or not it actual works?

I have been dealing with this issue for a month now and nobody seems to care or want to know about it!  When I try to Send/Receive email, what I get is a flashing "Updating Calendar" which does not go away, I have been to forums and I have searched for answers and usually get some directions which I so far out of this world it is a shame some people actually believe their answers.

Are there actually some people who care out there?
