What happened to my hotmail emails? My account is emty.

Hello,
I have not signed in my hotmail account for a long time because of my illness. I have a lot of important mails in it. Today I tried to sign in  hotmail but my account was empty.
There are so important mails for me. Please, Help me to get my emails.
What will I do?
