I am using windows 7 and need to download windows 10. Which I did a while back but had horrible email and folder issues, so went back to windows 7.  I need to download 10, so went to Microsoft and they told me if I downloaded Windows essential 2012, (was using 2011) then I would have no issues if I downloaded 10.   Haven't downloaded 10 yet because essentials 2012 has messed up my receiving emails, I have no contacts and the dang windows live messenger keeps constantly popping up saying I need to download new version but I can't, also my verizon and hotmail log in keeps constantly showing up and 1/2 the time it won't take my password.  I certainly don't want to download 10 while I have this mess. Microsoft person never contacted me back after telling me to download essentials 2012 and I wrote back saying I was having all these issues.  I need help..
