Visa expired, got a new card, just need to add the new expiry date. Getting error.

I am trying to update the expiry date on my new visa.   I tried to just update the expiry date, since the number didn't change, but I get the following error: 

30225-nH1gAQAAAAAAAAAA-33069310-f7a9-4d6f-bb3c-8d6baa297b9a

 Then I tried to create a new card and I get an error saying the card already exists.    

Do I delete my old visa and add a new one?  I don't want my account to be without a card for any period of time so if the system is broken for me, I don't want to do that.

Please assist.
