I am the family memory keeper. I've had a camera in my hand from box camera to heavy VHS cameras then Digital Handycam Video recorders and now Ipad and Iphone. With each great technological leap I convert everything to the latest format. Old multi generation
photos have been digitally re-mastered and archived... I also make video movies for special needs children that are distributed to schools and parents thru DVDs. I do this for no money. My computer, All In One, HP, windows 7 upgraded to windows 10. Nothing
worked afterwards. The movie maker is no longer compatible with any of my video, past or present. I have external hard drives loaded with family memories, histories not to mention all the movies I've made for my kids that once was easy to upload to computer,
burn a DVD when asked and then free up the space by deleting, knowing they were still there on an external. Please, tell me what am I to do now? The movies I make, most are personal, not something the families would want spread on U-Tube or other worldly
media. I have taken Windows 10 off my computer. Reinstalled the previous operating system and windows movie maker. but I am worried what happens when my computer goes out and I'm forced to buy one with Windows 10? What do people who are used to the old operating
system whether for enjoyment or business do to continue to make the videos, slideshows and presentations that were easy and fun? How do I preserve all the Family history, mine as well as all the families I help, their photos and videos and special movies?
Preserve and use it? And please, I am not tech savvy, took me a long time to even figure out what a Drop Box was or how to use it.. And I'm still unsure about all these clouds we have now...
