I was making a video composed of many different video clips that added up to around 20 minutes in length when, after adding a caption, clips started turning invisible when the mouse cursor moved over them (not clicking and not hitting any keys or after activating anything that could possibly do this). I saved the project in the hope I could close and re-open the project without losing any work. Unfortunately, when I re-opened the project the video was still invisible, but if you hit play, the different captions and titles I had added were still playing at the same time as where they had been when the video was there. To the right, no video clips or captions are displayed, only the "click here to browse for videos and photos" screen. The preview of the video plays as black and only goes to about 11 minutes which is where the last caption I placed comes in. Basically, the video is gone and I'm assuming there's no way to get it back, but if there is or if there are other people who have experienced this, please let me know. My other Movie Maker projects were unaffected and are still editable with completely visisble video clips.
