Today I noticed that all emails prior to 2008 have been removed and there is no way for me to restore them even in the deleted folder using the recovery button at the bottom of the screen. The settings are set so that third parties cannot delete them and are put into the pop folder.

The second account that I have with hotmail i used on my desktop outlook and today when i logged in through outlook.com all the emails, contacts, folders are gone. There is a welcome message dated today but that is all. This second account has been used since 2005.

I have tried to restore these accounts using various methods listed in the community and also called tech support at microsoft. They referred me to the "community help site". I have also cleaned my cache and tried in two different browsers 'in private browsing' 'incognito' in IE and Chrome.
