I have the latest version of Windows Live Mail client program on my system.  I use Windows 8 on a 64-bit Asus notebook computer.  This question is not about Windows Live Mail website version.

I spent the past almost two hours drafting an important message related to my work.  (I use Windows Live Mail as the main means of communication - email for the online school where I teach.)

The email I had drafted had several attachments and I realized one attachment was duplicated.  I therefore clicked on the attachment in order to delete the duplicate file.  That was 30 minutes ago.  My Live Mail program went into "Not Responding" mode.  Now I cannot retrieve my email that I spent almost two hours developing.  I cannot save it as a draft.  I cannot retrieve any emails as Windows Live Mail is frozen in the "Not Responding" mode.

Ordinarily when this happens, I would simply use Task Manager and stop the process.  However I don't want to lose the important communication that took me so long to write.

Can anyone suggest what I can do to stop the recycling program and save my work?  I am desperate!

Anita
