I have Windows 7 and currently use Windows Live Mail 2011. Since I got a message saying that my accounts will stop working unless I upgrade, I'm planning to upgrade to the 2012 version.

I get it that I will have to install the whole Essentials suite because I can't just upgrade the email client, is that correct?
In that case, I have two questions:

1) is there a way to migrate my accounts settings and email messages to the new client?

2) should I perform an uninstall of the programs I already have before installing Essentials 2012? Other than Live Mail, I already have movie maker, photo gallery and writer.

Thanks.
