I got the email today telling me that I had to update my Windows Live Mail account,  and I am afraid that this might affect my operating system.  I know that Microsoft has been pushing Windows 10 for quite some time, and I wonder if this update might change my operating system from Windows 7 to Windows 10 (which I don't want).  From what I've read in the other questions and responses, it doesn't sound like it will.  But it does sound like it will mess up my Windows Live account if I do install it.

So I'm wondering what the best thing is to do?  Just reinstall Windows Live Essentials when the change takes place and hope that that will restore my Windows Live Mail account to what it was before Microsoft messed it up?  From what I've read, it sounds like that's the best way to go.  I just hope that I will still be able to install Windows Live Essentials.  If Microsoft takes this down so that we can't have Windows Live Mail as we've known it anymore, I don't know what I'm going to do, but I'm not going to be happy.

Does anyone else have any suggestions?
