I have a client that using:

Mac OS X 10.8.5 with

Office 2011 Outlook v. 14.4.8 and an Office 365 exchange account

Experiencing an unusual issue where they create an Unread Email smart folder that appears to be updating any new emails into this folder, but won't update when a message is read. Obviously you don't want it updating immediately but if you navigate away from the folder and back to it, it's still showing recently read emails.

I've since removed and recreated his identity, but the issue still seems to persist, and he would like to avoid having to re-install the application again (he's had some other issues that have required it be re-installed and is frustrated at this point.)

If anyone has any suggestions on how to correct this, it would be very much appreciated.
