Unable to send with smtp.gmail.com, socket error 11004

I am also getting the same message while sending mail from my gmail account through window live mail.

Please let me know the solution. i tried sending mail to many email from my gmail account , all the results are same.

 

The host 'smtp.gmail.com    ' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly.
