In response to a rather sarcastic response from firedog (?) - this is the first time I've had occasion to indulge in this service, so wasn't clear on the protocols. Fortunately, John was much more polite than you.... probably because people on our planet do actually hold conversations

The emails are now "sending" correctly, with no input from me, you or anyone else - it happened spontaneously, in much the same way that it chose not to work. It now recognises the passwords that it refused to acknowledge for the past 48 hours.
