I've seen this same question asked several times and usually a private message exchange takes place.

I have moved my personal domain "mypersonaldomain.com" to Outlook.com and have confirmed via http://account.live.com that the domain is verified.

My primary email is *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, I am able to send mail to and from this account correctly.

I create an Account Alias called *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.  I get the verification email and I confirm the link.  Look at the list of alias records for my account, I can confirm that the alias Aba is now verified.

When I attempt to email *** Email address is removed for privacy *** from say http://mail.yahoo.com, I receive the SMTP 550 error below.

Remote host said: 550 Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable [RCPT_TO]

What needs to happen next to for me to be able to recieve email as both *** Email address is removed for privacy *** and *** Email address is removed for privacy ***?

I noticed that under Your Email accounts Inbox > Options > Your email accounts

I see all the email addresses under Outlook aliases and they all say send only.  Clicking details, it tells me "To send and receive email from this address, please add this address to Outlook."

Clicking the only button on that dialog box is Manage aliases which takes me to the Email address for notifications screen.
